About Us

The Apostolic Christian Church began in 1955 from a large tent revivial held by Evangelists (and twin brothers) Billy and Bobby McCool ; and was located for many years on South Broadway in the Keystone Community of Johnson City.  In the 1980’s the church purchased 17 acres of property and relocated to our present location off the Milligan Highway.

The church as been a helping hand to the community and city throughout its history, but we do not only want to reflect on the past, we also are looking to the future. A Place to Belong is the name of this website, but it is also a way of thinking at the ACC. No matter who you are or what your background may be, where you came from or where you want to go in life; when you visit one of our church services you will definitely realize that you have found ………
